This is a fantastic book!
Anybody who would seek to understand the Palestinian/Israeli Conflict should grab onto this.
Student: "When you travel to the Middle East...you never talk about seeing the beaches or the mountains. You go to places wher bombs go off and people shoot at each other."
Dr. Culp: Technically that's true, and while I love beaches and mountains as much as anyone, there are things that are more beautiful."
Student: "Like what?"
Dr. Culp: "Being present as heroes are born."

An OK read with good information

This book was a required read for a class. It was just OK, not great not terrible. Some stories were very vivid and moving it I found the tone of most of the book to be kind of flat. There is some good information from the perspective of Mr. Culp but I would only recommend this if its a required read for a class,
