Such an impressive box set to have! This books are great for those who want to learn basic computer programming language for storing data.
It is great for young kids as well as adults. It is a beginners guide and anyone can learn in just one day.
The way it is explained helps a lot for a person like me who has no idea what SQL is.the examples are clear and easy to understand and implement
.A great book to learn storing data on the computer, manipulating it and querying. So much worth purchasing!

DONT WASTE MONEY ON THIS TITLE!

This book is a bunch of pdfs that can be downloaded free. It is fulfilled by a print on demand place. The writing is comparable to a 5th grader who is in "special kid" classes. Typos, missing words, bad translation and a hint of Asian ESL makes this book next to useless.

I now have created my own website with HTML and CSS3 where I have incorporated a blog.

I was interested in HTML and I needed a book that cover everything from A to Z. I searched the web but I only encountered inaccurate HTML guides. However, a friend of mine recommended me this books so I tried it. I have to say, I am very happy that I bought this one! It was able to show me the basics of HTML, it also showed the basics of CSS3 and it even showed me how to make a blog page. I now have created my own website with HTML and CSS3 where I have incorporated a blog. Thank you very much for this book!

"The Beast Within (A Supernatural Horror Short Story) by D.F. Holland is a fast paced, urban supernatural tale that combines mystery, romance and terror. Holland's clear cut narrative make the story engaging from start to finish. In particular, it is simply the relatability of the characters and situations that reel you in and then leave you greatly troubled but satisfied as a reader in the end. Heather seems to meet the man of her dreams, and I found the irony of the situation heartrending and greatly sympathized with the young woman. Despite it being a short story, Holland adroitly puts emotions of love, betrayal, guilt and fear deep into the plot and the characters. The ending is brilliant, albeit sad and horrifying. All in all, The Beast Within is quite a read for fans of the genre to savor. I look forward to reading more of Holland's work."

An amazing amount of story in a short number of pages. It will suck you in. I LOVED IT!

I love the subject matter that D.F. Holland chose to write about for this short story. I may be alone in this, but I have often thought about the gargoyles that are perched on many older buildings in many cities across North America. I often think about them when walking on the street below. Firstly, imagine the amount of history they have witnessed. If only they were equipped with video cameras that perpetually recorded - imagine what we could see and learn. Of course, the gargoyles were carved long before video cameras were a reality, but still I think it would be cool. I've often worried that one day these gargoyles may loosen from their perches and fall on unsuspecting pedestrians below.

D.F. Holland has taken her musings a step further in her short story THE BEAST WITHIN.

"The gargoyles were so high above the sidewalk that most people were unaware of them. Only an occasional helicopter pilot could see the enormity and magnificence of the gargoyles"

Heather lives on the top floor of one of these gargoyle decorated buildings, but despite living so close to it, she has never seen the gargoyles.

Heather had recently gone through a breakup but she was finally over the grieving process and decided to get out of the apartment.

Lucky for her, she picked the perfect day to go out and she ends up meeting an amazing guy. In fact, she thinks that he just might be the one.

The first part of this story draws the reader in and the romance takes centre stage. Readers will find themselves smiling as they read about the new couple.

But, just as you get comfortable with the story, it takes a sinister and decidedly scary turn. I LOVED IT!

D.F. Holland has done an amazing job of drawing in her readers and in capturing and keeping their attention. I enjoyed the twists in the story and am amazed at how much detail she was able to include in only 27 pages.

I rate THE BEAST WITHIN as 5 out of 5 Stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tasty

I received this book for Free as a member of Julies Book Review. It was thoroughly entertaining, well written and engaging. I fell in love with Robert, although I knew his secret; he was wrapped up in old school charm, otherworldly beauty and at the end he was a guilty scoundrel. Poor Heather. There was just enough pages to be tasty, but not enough to be fulfilling...in other words, too short. If you have a few hours to spend, then spend it with Robert and Heather.

Easy for kids to read and grasp

My kids really like this book. The size makes it seem approachable, and the lessons are easily digestible for 14 year olds. The book concisely conveys key concepts like start early. My son said the book has helped him actually understand the financial concepts he was exposed to in school.

In contrast, my kids did not take to the Motley Fool book for teens. There is nothing wrong with the content, but the book did not grab them in the same way as the Pivnick book.

Awesome book

What can I say? If you struggle with math like I do, then this book is for you. I was more of a liberal arts, wordy kind of person in college. Frankly, numbers just didn't work for me. But wow! This explains things in such a relatable way - my 10 year olds really got into this. Awesome book - would recommend. Good introduction to money and investing

Good book but pretty basic. I suppose that's what I should expect for an introductory book. It was too advanced for my 6-year old to read by himself (I found him in the middle of a self-motivated web search for "how to invest money" and he asked me to teach him how to invest). He does read at a sixth grade level but the material in the book was too much for him by himself. So, it's become a book that I read to him and then we talk about it. In this way the book provides a great framework to launch more conversation - so that's a GOOD thing!

The investing strategy presented is a very basic, generic approach - totally appropriate for an introductory book. The strategy basically suggests that, for nearly all investors, the only investing approach worthwhile is to invest in index mutual funds for the long term. The book very clearly states that stock picking is too risky and that trying to time the market doesn't work. The book does a good job of introducing the concept of risk and how it relates to expected return. It's a decent introductory book with some good basic information to whet the appetite of a youngster interested in money and investing.

Dr. Nikiforos T. Laopodis is a Finance and Economics Professor at Fairfield University, U.S. and at the Athens Laboratory of Business Administration at The American College of Greece, Greece. His areas of specialization are international finance and financial econometrics. He has taught at various Universities in the U.S. and in Greece and has been invited to give lectures to Universities and international organizations in Europe. He has published extensively in the fields of finance and financial economics focusing on interest rates, exchange rates, stock markets as well as monetary and fiscal policies. Have the whole series purchased for my Granddaughter who loves them. No matter how old she gets this series from Kate and M. Sarah Klise is still on her top 5 list. She has read and re-read all of them. From the moment we read the first one together (she was 8 yrs. old) and I explained the play on words she was hooked. What a joy these books have been. Please Kate and M. Sarah keep up the great work.

You'll die laughing

So who hasn’t had that awkward need to say something without knowing quite what to say? Times when a Hallmark just won’t do. Maybe you need a ghostwriter. Fortunately, the world’s most unusual family, residing at 43 Old Cemetery Road, are here to help. Our beloved Ignatius B. Grumply, his wife and ghostwriter Olive C. Spence and their son Seymour Hope have opened a sideline business, “Greetings from the Graveyard”: “Send one along when everything goes wrong”.

Of course, nothing is ever easy for the trio. What with Iggy’s long lost ex-fianc�, Nadia S. Richenov, coming back into the picture and those two escaped cons, Robb Z. Lott and his wife Liza, on the loose. In times like these, you might be in need of a security system, and fortunately new Ghastly residents, Ben and Mia Bizzy are on the job. This installment’s cast of characters is rounded out by appraiser Art Smart, Olive’s former industrious if intrusive butler T. Leeves and the return of Iggy’s old publisher, Paige Turner. Demand for those cards is going to be high.

As is standard for this series, we encounter more twists and turns than a Dan Brown book, all packed into about 160 pages of richly illustrated letters, newspapers, text message printouts and other assorted written communications. And once again the Klise sisters have hit it out of the park. I first encountered this series with Book IV, THE PHANTOM OF THE POST OFFICE, and was so hooked I immediately got the first three books to catch myself up. Whether you are new to the series or an old friend, you won’t be disappointed in this latest episode of the lives (and deaths) of some of the most original and enchanting characters in children’s literature.

The Most Inspired Bit of Lunacy Launches a Greeting Card Company

Having absolutely loved the first five books in the 43 Old Cemetary Road series: Dying to Meet You, Over My Dead Body, Till Death Do Us Bark, The Phantom of the Post Office, and Hollywood, Dead Ahead, I had little doubt I would love this one, and I was not disappointed.

As our story opens, the writing team (and family) of I. B. Grumply, Olive C. Spence, and Seymour Hope, residing in the old Spence Mansion at 43 Cemetery Road, Ghastly, IL, are confronting a problem not all that uncommon to the rich and famous: someone out of their past come forward to try to cash in on their success. In this case it is Nadia S. Richenov, the woman a young Iggy asked to marry him 21 years ago, whose proposal she "turned down like a bedspread". In the midst of writing Nadia a letter telling her off in no uncertain terms, Iggy is interrupted by Olive objecting to the rudeness of his letter. Iggy wishes there was a greeting card for occasions like this, and Olive is inspired to launch a greeting card company that writes and illustrates custom rhyming greeting cards for sticky situations not covered by standard greeting cards: "Greetings from the Graveyard".

Meanwhile, a married couple of escaped convicts, Rob Z. Lott and Liza Lott, neither the first, the last, nor the worst of the soul crushing puns contained herein, have launched an unprecedented crime spree in previously crime free Ghastly, IL, that is simply beyond the capabilities of Sheriff Mike Ondolences (I warned you) to deal with. Worse, a determined Nadia S. Richenov has shown up in Ghastly, intending either to marry Iggy or blackmail him with the threat of publishing all those embarrassing love letters he wrote to her. Meanwhile, Seymour Hope is trying to figure out how to earn enough money to buy Iggy a great gift for his first Father's Day, and Olive C. Spense is getting worried enough about the crime wave (The portrait of her hanging in the Spense mansion dining room, the one whose eyes appear to follow you around the room, was recently appraised at $5,000,000.00, and it made the local news.) to request the return of her former butler T. Leeves,...

despite the fact that he died before she did, which leaves the problem of contacting him among others, but if you can send "Greetings from the Graveyard",...?

Chaos and hilarity ensue, and once more the gimmick of having the story told entirely through written communication works fairly well.

I shall be eagerly awaiting the next volumes in this delightful series, soul crushing puns and all.
